Regulars father-and-son duo Ryan and Will were back on the bank this week, but this session had a special twist as Ryan brought along his youngest son George for what turned into a trip to remember. Three generations on the venue, plenty of laughs, and a catch report full of milestones made this one extra special.
The fishing was steady throughout the week, with the lads putting together an impressive mixed haul, but the standout moments belonged to the boys. Will stole the headlines early on with the mighty Titan, a stunning common at 39lb, showing exactly why it’s one of the venue’s most sought-after residents. A proper reward for sticking at it and keeping the rods working.
Not to be outdone, young George had a session he’ll never forget when he landed Checkmate at 28lb 2oz – a new personal best and a fish that will stay in the memory for years to come. Seeing the smile on his face said it all, and it’s always brilliant to watch the next generation make moments like that on the bank.
Ryan was, as always, in amongst the action too, helping guide the boys while banking a few quality fish himself and making sure everyone was enjoying the trip. Sessions like this are what angling is all about – family time, shared memories, and fish of a lifetime.
